Pond Soccer World Cup Rules
Team Composition and Player Substitutions
-
The team consists of one (1) goalkeeper and five (5) field players. The number of substitutes is not limited. However, the team must keep at least four (4) players on the field.
-
Player substitutions are performed as flying substitutions at the center line of the field. The substitution has been completed correctly when the player who is being substituted has left the field before the new player enters the field. The referee can punish an improperly executed substitution with a two (2) minute penalty or, alternatively, by awarding the opponent a free kick near the center line. A possible goal does not interrupt the execution of the penalty.
-
### Disciplinary Actions and Penalties
-
The referee can give a straight red card to a player who intentionally tries to harm another player. The referee ensures the safety of the players; light shoving is allowed, but any deliberate Tackling is worth a warning. Two warnings in the same match result in a red card and sending off. The ejection will result in a one (1) match suspension
Rules of the game
-
For free kicks, the distance to the wall must be at least three (3) meters.
-
The goalkeeper has the right to take the ball in his hands within a radius of about five (5) meters from the goal.
-
A goal scored directly from an opening from the goalkeeper's hands is not accepted.
-
If the ball is returned to the goalkeeper after the play has been opened, the goalkeeper may not take the ball in his hands until the opponent has touched the ball or the ball has entered the attacking zone.
-
The exception rule does not apply.
-
Penalty shots, corner kicks and corner kicks are taken from hands.
-
All free kicks, corner kicks and sideline kicks are indirect.
-
The same player may not represent more than one team in the same series (Player transfers between competitions to another team are strictly prohibited!).
-
The rankings are decided according to the competition rules in the following order: results of mutual matches, goal difference, goals scored, draw.
Equipment -
Players are not allowed to wear uniforms that can cause damage to opponents. Playing without appropriate game attire is prohibited. Game shoes must not have metal replacement pins or similar spikes, and they must not be dangerous for other players. All jewelry and watches must be removed before the start of the game.
Competition system -
The best teams from the initial groups advance to the playoffs. Two (2) points are awarded for a match win, one (1) point for a draw and zero (0) points for a loss. The size of the groups and the number of teams that advance are determined based on the final number of participants.
Solution of tie situations -
If the teams end up with equal points in the regular season, the ranking will be decided in the following order:
-
1. Result of mutual matches
2. Goal difference
3. Goals scored
4. Draw -
If the playoff match ends in a tie, the winner will be decided by a penalty shootout. Each team names three (3) shots. If the situation is tied after three shots, let's move on to the sudden death solution.
Objections and Decision Making -
Any objections must be submitted to the tournament service within 15 minutes after the end of the match.
-
The referee's decisions cannot be appealed. The jury can make separate case-specific and sporting decisions. The referee and the jury have the right to prevent a player or the entire team from participating in the match.
-
Each player is responsible for his own insurance coverage.
Changes -
We reserve the right to change the rules.

Pond Soccer World Cup
The Pond Soccer World Cup event will be held in Levi on January 24-25, 2025.
The Pond Soccer World Cup event is an entertaining snow soccer event aimed at hobby teams and groups of friends.
There are 64 team places in the event. The participation fee is €249/team.
Pond Soccer World Cup Tournament
PSWC is a low-threshold sports event that offers football in the snow, regardless of level. Pond soccer is a unique variant of soccer played on a snow-covered surface. The game mostly follows standard soccer rules, but they have been applied to a snowy surface, which increases the challenge of controlling the ball and maintaining balance. Like normal football, pond football also has boundaries and a referee to ensure fair play. This sport combines the excitement of soccer with the fun of a winter environment and offers a unique and enjoyable experience.
The matches will be played on Friday 24.1. and on Saturday 25.1. The games start on Friday at 12 noon and the event culminates with the crowning of the champions on Saturday evening.
The event has one series in which mixed teams can also participate. Each team will have at least three matches in the tournament. The playoffs are determined by the team's success.
